Your garage will not be complete without an air hose. This air hose is where the compressed air travels from its source to a desired external point. It could either be made from polyurethane or rubber. Polyurethane air hose are made with organic units combined with urethane links. These tubes are lightweight, flexible, abrasion resistant and able to withstand 40 degrees Fahrenheit and still be flexible. Rubber hose, on the other hand, can handle higher temperature and pressure. This kind of hose is also very flexible and has high resistant to abrasion. These kind of hoses are definitely a must have in every garage or shop together with reels.

Air compressor hose reels are made with plastic and comes in three different types: open-face, closed-face and manual. Open-face is a reel that has no cover for its body. It has a contraption that enables the hose to retract when not in use. This way, your hose would not clutter around your garage or shop. The closed-face is the same with open-face reel, only it has a body covering. This gives protection to the hose when it is rolled in the reel. Lastly, the manual is the most basic reel. It does not have any mechanism and so you manually retract the hose. This is ideal for home use since it is much cheaper. Whatever reel you think you need, just remember that as long as it protects your hose, it is an ideal one.
